Manufacturer's Description
The 262 XSF is a forward seating model, derived from Scout's popular 262 Sportfish, and delivers the ultimate in sportfishing action and performance without sacrificing comfort or style. This model, a first for Scout Boats offers two removable forward seat backs that can be stowed away easily in a dedicated storage area. This power packed 26' also contains a 145-gallon fuel tank, which allows anglers to get to the fishing grounds and back with unprecedented range. The technologically-designed hull combined with the bow flare assures a very dry and exceptionally smooth ride when slicing through rough seas. The 262 features a 27-gallon aerated bait well mounted aft, a 246 quart insulated fish box with diaphragm pump located in the bow, a 60-gallon port fish box and a bait prep station complete with fresh water sink and tackle storage. There are four stainless steel flush mount rod holders, rocket launchers mounted behind the optional helm leaning post backrest and t-top and plenty of additional rod storage under the gunwale. Other standard features on the 262 XSF include cockpit courtesy lights, integrated swim platform, wave gate with fold-away stern seat, a JBL AM/FM stereo with iPod capability and a completely private head with a locking door. Optional features include outriggers, a 6-disk CD changer, Sirius Satellite Radio upgrade and a 55-gallon leaning post bait well.
